Springboard can give you the experience of working in a care setting which could be the beginning of a successful job as a care assistant or a good stepping stone to a nursing career. We have placements in hospital and care home settings
You will spend four days per week in your placement and one day at Springboard working towards an NVQ or modern apprenticeship.
In your workplace you will:

Assist staff in their daily duties

Deal with visitors

Be involved in some personal care

Make beds
-
Escort clients or patients
-
Socialise with clients or patients

Go on errands

Talk to clients
-
Maintain a safe environment

Contribute to the protection of individuals

Promote equality, diversity and rights for people
