Programme: Basic Employability Training

Available to: 25+ learners who are on New Deal or are eligible for work based learning.

Details: A 26 week programme aimed at those over age 25 who would like to progress to employment, training or for future development needs. This programme will help those people who need to improve their Literacy or Numeracy Skills. Learners are also being involved in work placement, information technology for beginners, confidence building, communication skills and much more!!
Learners can expect an informal atmosphere, lots of interesting activities and the opportunity to refresh skills.

Programme: REACT (Refugee Education And Community Training)

Available to: 18-60 and unemployed

Details: Require ESOL Literacy and language support claiming Jobseekers Allowance
Part of the New Deal/Work based learning for adult’s agreement.
The programme includes ESOL Literacy and Language, Occupational skills, customised training relevant to future employment, ICT training, presentation skills, self-awareness and much, much more. Occupational training also includes Work placement with local employers with assistance and support for entry into the labour market.

Programme: Personal Development Programme 

Available to: People who have a health problem or disability who would like help with confidence building, Disability Issues, Team work Skills and Communication Skills.

Details: To equip people with the necessary social and work skills to enter or re-enter employment. This is a three-week programme, usually of 21 hours per week, flexible to suit individual requirements.

Programme: Work Preparation 

Available to: People with health problem or disability who wish to enter or re-enter employment, training or other progression routes

Details: An individually tailored programme matched to learner needs, covering work preparation, job search, and work experience placement. To provide the learner with recent work experience, which may be taster sessions in more than one type of employment. This will help the learner in making an informed choice on their progression into employment options.
This is a Six to Eight week programme, usually 30 hours per week, but flexible depending on individual requirements.

Programme: Personal Development Routeway

Available to: New Deal 18-24 learners

Details: A three-week programme packed with activities to build your confidence, improve your teamwork ability and improve your job prospects. Learners will be involved in group project work, outdoor activities, teamwork tasks, fitness and practical projects as well as Employment focussed training utilizing modern state of the art ICT facilities.

Programme: Fulltime Education and Training (26 week Skills for Life and Vocational)

Available to: New Deal 18-24 learners. 

Details: An individually tailored programme of training, which lasts twenty-six weeks. Delivered in two formats. Skills for Life and Vocational. There is the opportunity to study for both Literacy and Numeracy Skills for Life qualifications and also Industry specific qualifications including National Vocational Qualifications up to level three. 

Programme: Skills for Life
Literacy and Numeracy tuition with support to gain qualifications up to and including Level one of the Skills for Life Curriculum.
